Beginnings
The seeds of WORLDS™️ were planted in 2018 with the creation of Mesmerica, a collaboration between Grammy-nominated musician James Hood, immersive experiential company Vortex Immersion Media and British marketing/production company Poseidon Music. Mesmerica swiftly became the fastest-selling planetarium show ever.
WORLDS™️ is a new independent operation designed to extend this success to a larger pipeline of shows with a strong, multi-faceted social mission. Worlds currently has 56 core team-members spread over 12 countries, as well as over 120 staff making up the teams working with each venue.

Jon Cotton
CEO/CMO
Jon is a music producer and arts entrepreneur dedicated to breaking down barriers between art and audiences. He has produced music performed in over 200 countries, on two Space Shuttle missions and one Olympics.
Jon and his UK team created WORLDS' revolutionary business model.
Bennett Freed
Chairman
Bennett has been a manager of and consultant to world-class talent for over 40 years, working with the Bee-Gees, Michael Jackson, Earth, Wind and Fire, Steve Winwood, Frankie Goes To Hollywood, Swing Out Sister & Fat Freddy's Drop.
He is heavily involved in an autism school in Los Angeles, where he has introduced hundreds of students (including his son) to the therapeutic effects of immersive entertainment.
Michael Daut
VP Venue Engagement
Michael brings massive planetarium experience from a 20-year tenure at Evans & Sutherland where he developed their library of shows. A board member of both the GSCA and IMERSA and an experienced director himself, Michael has been a leading light in the planetarium world for 30 years.
Kate McCallum
VP Creative
Kate brings 20 years of experience in TV and feature film development/production at NBC Universal and Paramount Studios. Kate served six years on the Producers Guild of America's Board and co-founded the Social Impact Entertainment Task Force which collaborated to produce events with the UN.
Alisa Peterson
VP Merchandise & Venue Operations
Alisa brings 25 years’ experience as a stand-out merchandising and people leader, bringing Director-level experience to our operations from her tenures leading teams at Harry and David, Cheryl’s Cookies and Finaly Fine Jewelry, part of Lord & Taylor department stores.
Donna Mastropasqua
Head of Social Impact Partnerships
Donna brings 40 years of experience in media and social impact. As Executive Director of Bob Marley's 1love.org, Chief Strategy Officer of Dave Stewart's, First Artist Bank, Head of Strategic Partners for Will and Jada Smiths CIE initiative and Deepak Chopra’s Foundation, Donna has harnessed her creativity and passion to get stuff done.
Ian Downie
VP Distribution & Technical Operations
Ian is a technical producer with over 25 years of experience, serving renowned artists and brands such as Childish Gambino, IBM, NBC, Nike, Acura, and Microsoft. He has produced thousands of immersive concerts and multi-sensory theatrical events globally, advancing the science and art of awe to create profound transformative experiences that awaken the heart of humanity.
Ruth Stephenson
Head of Customer Services
Ruth heads up our highly acclaimed international customer services team from her home in Bermuda. Ruth's customer service career started in the financial sector before moving into the arts; while raising an amazing family she also once helped manage a nursery school - the ultimate in demanding customers.
Richard Loftus
Senior Marketing Manager
Richard's twenty-year career spans two of the UK's largest commercial theatre operators and a senior role at the world-renowned Symphony Hall, promoting artists including Tony Bennett and Dionne Warwick.
He also volunteers at a community hub helping disadvantaged young people create music.
Dino Oreski
Senior Digital Marketing Manager
Dino is a Digital Marketing Strategist who almost single-handedly introduced digital marketing to Croatia.
Working at the intersection of culture, commerce, and people, his core skill in his 20 year career has been acting as the connective tissue between technology and marketing.
Tatiana Lamela Rabell PMP, CSM, CSPO
Head of Project Management
Tati brings over 15 years experience in Project Management leadership to our team, most notably as Sr. Manager of Project Management at Disney Interactive, Senior Project Manager at Farmers Insurance, and Director of PM for Crowd Favorite. With a masters in media production from Columbia she drives our creative and operational process backbone.
